Friendship First Groups

Chard Churches Together Friendship First is simply about creating opportunities for people to meet together across churches, to have fun and get to know one another. It is hoped that by creating a range of encounters people can build friendships in a relaxed atmosphere and begin to see beyond the boundaries of their individual church.

The Friendship Groups are relaxed, short term opportunities for people from different churches to meet in small groups. They will be hosted by Chris and Penny Medland in their home and run for four weeks at various times so you can choose times to suit you. Each week there will be chance to chat, share faith, pray together and drink tea and eat cake. They are a chance for people get to know each other better, to get to know what different churches do and hear about some of the Churches Together Initiatives.

We would expect people to commit to one group for the whole four weeks so the next time you walk down Chard High Street you can stop and say hi!
